Saudi Arabia’s Rabigh solar project begins operations – EQ Mag

The photovoltaic power station project in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia has been successfully connected to the grid and officially entered the operation stage.
This project is a critical part of the ‘Vision 2030’ formulated by the Saudi government, which includes vigorously developing new energy sources and promoting energy strategic transformation.
After the project is connected to the grid for power generation, it will provide 45,300 households with green and clean power supply.
The average annual power generation is 2240 kWh. The total power generation of the project in the first year is 894 million kWh, and the converted carbon dioxide emission reduction is about 779,900 tons.
