AMMAN : Jordan ranked third among Arab countries in 2022 in terms of solar energy production, according to the International Renewable Energy Agency’s latest report, carried by Khaberni News.
The Kingdom’s solar energy production was exceeded only by the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Despite its impressive solar energy output, Jordan’s electricity prices remain among the highest in the Arab world. The country also faces a shortage of electricity.
